**THE KIMSEY** Caption by Douglas Snyder, FAIA, NCARB…Excited to report that The Kimsey development in downtown Scottsdale just gained an approval from the Scottsdale Public Art Advisory Board for the two public art pieces including 'Luminal' (pictured) by Brian Brush of Bozeman, Montana; and 'Kimsey Grove' by Jason Kelly Johnson and Nataly Gattegno of FUTUREFORMS in San Francisco, CA. Working independent of each other they were both influenced by the historic citrus grove that was planted on the site c.1907 by the Kimsey family. Anticipated construction completion for the mixed-use development and public art installations is December 2024. These pieces will definitely energize the streetscapes; and surrounding arts and historic districts.
